The idea of the Nathanael or The Last kid of the Wisehood driven from A subtly structured collection of lyrical poems and travel notes by André Gide. Young Nathanael is one of the three main characters in “The Fruits of the Earth” by André Gide written in 1895."Nathaniel" comes from the Hebrew name"Nethan'el", meaning "God has given.
